Once the application form is complete and all additional information has been provided the New Zealand eTA will be processed within 1 day, however some applications may take longer to process, up to 2 days.
The International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) is a tourism tax that helps contribute to tourism infrastructure and protect the natural environment. Most visitors to New Zealand need to pay the IVL which is NZ$35 for all those traveling for tourism.
Applicants who wish to visit New Zealand need a minimum of three (3) months validity on their passport beyond the expected date of departure from the country.
